Soar Above was created for the Joliet Junior College Fine Arts Department. It was featured in the Northeastern Illinois University's 2025 Juried Exhibition in Graphic Design. The bird flying out of the sky emphasizes the idea of independence and freedom of choice to the incoming students. The sky symbolizing a fixed situation, possibly the past, with the bird flying out and leaving that familiar space, showing that they are opening themselves to new experiences that are discoverable within the Joliet Junior College Fine Arts Department.
